About YEGA

I didn’t start YEGA to make another hoodie. I started it because of a problem that never really left me — and because our generation is being asked to live in a way the body was never engineered for.

Today, we consume more mental and physical energy than ever before. We sit longer, focus deeper, and move less between moments.

The human body was not designed for this rhythm. And yet, this is the reality we live in.

The Beginning — Pain as a Design Question

For years, my neck needed more support than most people realise. It affected sleep, concentration, recovery, and even my performance in sports.

When the neck loses support, energy drops. Focus weakens. The whole body compensates.

Instead of accepting this as a limitation, I began to see it as a design challenge.

A Seated Generation

Our generation reads more, works more, studies more, and creates more — often without standing up. The problem isn’t only posture — it’s perception.

YEGA began at the intersection of those two worlds. Not as an accessory. But as a new form of clothing engineered for sitting, thinking, and creating.

Research & Design

I began researching the science of the neck — how cervical alignment affects circulation, posture, and cognitive comfort.

I worked with manufacturers and specialists, designing prototypes that explored material structure, airflow systems, and silhouette proportions.

Guangzhou — Engineering

I travelled to Guangzhou — a global hub where technical garment construction and fashion innovation intersect. Concept evolved into a product.

We refined modern pump inflation, adaptive air chambers, and one-click deflation — engineering comfort into the garment itself.

Beyond a Product

When the first pieces were released, the goal wasn’t simply to sell — it was to observe how people live with support integrated into their daily rhythm.

YEGA is built on a belief that comfort should evolve alongside culture. Not louder. Not heavier. Smarter.

What Comes Next

This is only the beginning. Today, I continue researching how modern life reshapes the body. YEGA will continue to explore the space where fashion, technology, and health meet.
